Kishtwar, June 8: Tehsil Drabshalla is highly populous tehsil, recenty sequestered from Kishtwar due to it's large area and population. It includes more than a dozen panchayats, and RDD blocks, It also acts as largest market place for thousands of people residing in hilly terrains of this area. A large number of people travels a long distance on dangerous and bad roads to reach the tehsil headquarters to avail various government facilities including banking and medical facilities. But unfortunately tge people have to face untold hardships, as the area lacks properly scheduled arrival and departure time which becomes a great head ache for the people residing in different villages of tehsil headquarters.
Daily services of Tata sumos is available from Tatani, kukerwas, and lass, but everything is dependent on willingness of drivers, as the time of arrival and departure is meaningless for them, oftenhalfway getting their vehicles packed with passengers they leavs the rules and regulations A-side and moves on with heavily overloaded vehicles on risky roads keeping a large number of passengers including ladies and patient's stuck halfway.
While speaking to Early Times, One of the stranded people of the area Mohd Ashfaq said that, expressed a grief a grief sorrow over the hooliganism of drivers and ignorance of authorities, they demanded quick action and urged Tehsildar Drabshalla to issue a notification and fix a timetable in this regard.
When contacted to Tehsildar Drabshalla about this issue, he assured to take a quick action of this complaint by the passengers. |
