The system will be used to play devotional music and spiritual songs which have been specially composed comprising "Chants", "Mantras", "Stotras", Bhaints besides live Atka Aarti, pre-recorded general, medical advisories, emergency public announcements and rich background music with high quality sound. The system installed on the Tarakote Marg has been synchronised with the similar Multipurpose Audio System which is already operational along the 3 stretches of pilgrimage tracks i.e. Darshani Deodi to Adhkuwari, Adhkuwari to Bhawan via Sanjichhat and Bhairon and Adhkuwari to Bhawan via Himkoti. With today's launch at Tarakote Marg, entire 23 km of Shrine track has been covered with Multipurpose Audio System.
This state-of-the-art Audio System also has the provision for linkage to various establishments located along the track and in Katra through CCTV, LAN, EPABX facilities and public announcements in the event of any emergency or disaster situations. All the 15 air-conditioned Control Booths enroute Tarakote Marg have been linked with two already operational Main Control Rooms at Darshani Deodi and Bhawan from where announcements along with the playing of spiritual music can be carried out.
