| WSGNNJ appeals govt to solve problems of Safaikaramcharis | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 8: Welfare Society Guru Nanak Nagar Jammu has appealed government to solve the demands of Safaikaramcharis of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), who have been observing strike. Balwinder Singh Rinku President of the society even talked to the daily wager sanitation staff of municipality, who apprised him about their issues. A.S.Khera Advocate Chairman of the society said as per the rulings of the Supreme court of India daily wagers are also entitled to equal pay in comparison with the regular staff but these people who are responsible for keeping our surroundings clean and hygienic are given step motherly treatment and are not paid for their sweet, the meagrely paid, which is not sufficient for them to run the affairs of their families.
