Thousands storm at Chowghan ground for SPO recruitment

kishtwar, June 8: Thousands of unemployed youths including girls from different parts of Kishtwar District storm at Kishtwar Chowghan ground, recruitment venue for open recruitment for SPOs post for District Kishtwar.
As per the details available with Early Times, over 100 posts of SPOs are for grabbing in Kishtwar District through open recruitment.
The unemployed youths who reach the venue since early morning Friday amid hot weather conditions called for increase in number of posts added that keeping in view of unemployment and huge number of job aspirants, the number of posts for SPOs should be increased upto 500.
Speaking to Early Times, enthusiastic youths said that they want to serve the nation as well as state-- this is why they have turned up at the venue for recruitment added that due to unemployment, they are ready to render the services as SPO for meager salary of Rs. 6000 per month with the hope that they will get an opportunity for regular services in J&K Police under 15% reserve quota for SPOs in selection process.
A youth who had come to participate in the recruitment process said that this is his 11 time in last few years wherein he is appearing in recruitment process added that he fail to get himself selected due to one or other reason.
Some youth says that they are toiling hard to get job despite having higher qualification and professional degrees. They said that power projects were hope for them but due to no political Godfather's, they fail to get the jobs in Kishtwar Power Projects despite being the locals while several non locals has been absorbed by the companies engaged for construction of power projects in Kishtwar District.
Several female candidates also appeared for taking part in recruitment rally and shows equal enthusiasm during the recruitment process.
Like boys; the girls too want to share the nation's burden.
Several youths from remote areas of Marwah, Warwan & Dachhan also participated in recruitment process.
The youths from some of these areas after traveling for around two days reach the venue due to non availability of the roads as the roads leading to Marwah and Warwan areas are close due to fresh snowfall and poor road conditions.
These youths while talking to Early Times demanded special police recruitment for Marwah and Warwan areas of Kishtwar District.
After hundreds of youths were waiting in lines to participate in the recruitment process and keeping in view of the heavy rush, the officials continue the process till late evening.
