| Basanthgarh loses sheen as PDA lights go off | | |

UDHAMPUR, June 23: The mast lights of PDA (Patnitop development authority) here are non-functional for the Last six yrs but the concerned authorities responsible for their maintenance and are in deep slumber. Non-functional mast light is resulting in complete darkness at the whole Basanthgarh area which is very much prone to crimes like eve teasing , burglary , snatching etc A local resident of Basanthgarh told Early Times that six yrs ago in 2013 PDA issued five mast lights for the lighting in whole Basanthgarh.
But only six month after that all the lights were damaged and till date the lughts have not been set right.
The locals have appealed to the DC Udhampur Piyush Singla to do the needful. |
