| Building less MS Paddar has one teacher for 8 classes | | | Rajesh Tandon

Poonch, June 23: Building less Middle School in far flung area Paddar of village Dhangri lacks all basic infrastructure and staff. The school is run by a single teacher where 22 students of first to eighth class are taking education.
Parents of children and locals of the area accuse the education department if playing with the career of their children.
Sources informed that there were two female teachers and a male reacher. One , one of the female teachers has been attached to Primary School Rathran in same village whereas other female is on "Child Care Leave" for last more than three years. The school is without Scienec teacher, Social Science teacher, Urdu and English teachers.
Locals accused Education Department especially Chief Education Officer Poonch of negligence.
According to them a memorandum qas submitted to the Education Department on 14 March this year to detach the attached teacher and retain "CCL" back to the said school but nothing has moved.
They have appealed to Governor Satya Pal Malik and Director School Education Jammu to intervene into the matter and provide staff to the said school at the earliest. |
