| Police recover 4 stolen two-wheelers, one tata magic | | |

Rajouri, June 23: Busting a gang of thieves, Rajouri police has arrested four persons recovering four two wheelers and a TATA magic from their possession. Senior superintendent of police, Yougal Manhas said that during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, a team of police from Manjakote police station headed by station house officer Manzoor Kohli under the supervision of sub divisional police officer Manjakote, Nisar Khoja was on routine night patrol when three persons were found roaming suspiciously on a tractor. Police team intercepted them and started to inquire their whereabouts and the reason for moving in darkness during which they fumbled and failed to give any satisfactory answer after which they were detained and taken to police station, said SSP. He added that trio were put to questioning in police station during which they confessed for involvement in thefts of vehicles, especially two wheelers, from the area and also informed that the tractor they were travelling is being used to carry stolen two wheelers. They also informed about involvement of another person in their racket after which raids were conducted at several suspected locations and fourth accused was also nabbed. |
