9 injured in another accident at Banderkoot Kishtwar

Kishtwar, June 23: A day after 18 persons were injured in an accident of Kishtwar-Jammu National Highway near Hasti, in another accident today persons including some children were injured when a cruser bearing Reg No. JK17-7088 turn turtle on road near Banderkoot some 8 KM from Kishtwar and the injured presently under going treatment at District Hospital Kishtwar including Samreena Begum, Zareena Begum, Nand lal, Rehana Begum, Baby Uzan, Bashir Ahmed, Shakoor Din Saloo, Sagrina Begum.
On recieving the information, the locals including police party from Police Post Kuleed and the army immediately rush to the spot and was joined by the volunteers of local NGO Ababeel in rescue operation and shifted all the injuried to District Hospital Kishtwar. The Ill fated Vehicle was overloaded with huge over head load as a result of which the driver of the vehicle lost his control while negotiating the sharp curve, luckily the vehicle did not fall from a hill lock; otherwise the tragedy could have been fetal as the river Chenab flows all along the roadside. Former MLA from Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori also visited District Hospital Kishtwar and enquired about the health conditions of injured who met with an accident at Banderkoot Kishtwar. During his visit, Mr. Saroori interacted with the injured persons and their attendants. He asked the doctors about the status of the patients and instructed the Hospital authorities and doctors to provide every required medical facility to the patients so that they do not feel any inconvenience.
He assured them all possible help and also wished for early recovery of the injured persons.
