Jammu, July 18: Inspector General of Police Jammu Zone, M.K Sinha visited Udhampur and Ramban districts today and held a security review of Shiri Amarnath Ji Yatra, 2019. He visited the langar sites and interacted with the sevadars and yatries there. He checked the night deployment of Udhampur district visited the stretch of NHW from Nashri to Digdol (land slide point) and checked the preparedness from security point of view as well as from dealing with any adverse situation created out of landslides or inclement weather. IGP Jammu also held a crime meeting with the officers/officials of district Ramban at DPO Ramban in which, apart from SSP Ramban and Addl SP Ramban, SDPOs, SHOs and IC PPs remained present. He stressed upon Special Reported Cases, disposal of junk vehicles, surveillance of OGWs and speedy disposal of missing persons and absconders. Later on the IGP complimented SSP Ramban and her team for good work done in NDPS and also for the arrangements made during SANJY - 2019. |
