Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 18: Jammu Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKSAC) has appealed the Governor SP Malik to prepare a comprehensive proposal for final settlement of DPs as per the JPC report for further submission to Central Government.
Several senior members of Jammu Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKSAC) in a meeting held at Railway Patri, RS Pura and presided over by Gurdev Singh, president, discussed about the latest status of disbursement of the package Rs 2000 crore besides other issues, particularly mutation of land under dwelling in different DP's colonies, compensation in lieu of deficient land, inclusion of DPs families in the package residing in State having outside registration and consideration of DPs for relief having supplementary records.
The participant members appealed the State BJP leadership to stress upon the Governor to issue advisory to the concerned Advisor to resolve all the issues and also to prepare a comprehensive proposal for final settlement of DPs as per the JPC report for further submission to central BJP Government which has full mandate.
While speaking on the occasion, Gurdev Singh said that JKSAC is seized of all the issues concerning DPs' final rehabilitation and is committed not to take rest until and unless the same are not resolved as per the legitimate aspirations of DPs. He asked all the district and tehsil level units of the organization to highlight all the issues among the DPs in order to make administration responsive to resolve the same.
He further said that DPs have lot of expectation from State BJP leadership for the projection of their issues as they are supporting them since 2014 election and again reposed their faith by casting their votes to both the BJP MPs, Jugal Kishore Sharma and Dr Jitendra Singh. Now it is their responsibility to reciprocate their faith by taking up their issues with a missionary zeal for its adequate and reasonable resolution apart from their other responsibilities.
