AJKAEM criticizes Jammu MPs for ignoring Jammu interests
8/7/2019 8:52:51 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 7: All Jammu and Kashmir Awam Ekta Manch (AJKAEM) has criticized the decision of Union government for undemocratically amending Article 370, which would have disastrous consequences for the state.
Organizer of AJKAEM Shivnandan said that at one hand the entire leadership of Kashmir valley has been kept under custody while the representatives of Jammu have refused to speak about the consequences Jammu would face after its revocation.
"What would be the fate of unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir while how the revocation would impact the business and economy of the state", Shivnandan said, adding that it was an undemocratic decision of Union government and Jammu representatives remained mute spectators, sacrificing the interests of Jammu region.
The move would further widen the wedge and hatred among the regions as well as communities. "Such undemocratic decisions should be opposed by the wider masses of the state as well as representatives", he said.
