As Per reports Former chief minister Farooq Abdullah stormed out of his residence into a hotel where media persons were staying, one sub-inspector and constable have been suspended for dereliction of duty. The constable and sub-inspector, along with a driver, have been accused of taking Farooq Abdullah in a car to a hotel without keeping security in the loop.
There were reports that at least eight persons on his team were taken off duty, but top sources negated the inputs.
On Tuesday, Farooq Abdullah claimed that he has been put under house arrest and said: "Home Ministry is lying in the Parliament that I'm not house-arrested, that I am staying inside my house at my own will." Farooq Abdullah was reacting to Home Minister Amit Shah's statement in Lok Sabha where he said that the former J&K chief minister has not been arrested as alleged by some opposition leaders.

Sources said after Mehbooba Mufti was moved to a hut in Hari Niwas, a make-shift jail. DSP Shaukhat Bhatt had objected to this arrangement stating that "the place was not up to the mark".
Sources said DSP Shaukhat Bhatt was suspended as "this was unbecoming of an officer". "It seemed that the personal interest and association with the former CM had come in way of his duty."
DSP Shaukhat Bhatt is believed to have been taken off the VIP duty.
Sources also said that while Mehbooba Mufti had reportedly used a proxy server "Firechat", which gives access to internet without mobile data network.
