DDC Ramban interacts with civil society, reviews Eid-ul-Azha arrangements

RAMBAN, Aug 7: District Development Commissioner, Nazim Zai Khan today convened a meeting of civil society members, religious representatives and political leaders besides prominent citizens from all walks of life to take stock of prevailing situation besides reviewed Eid-ul-Azha arrangements being made by the different departments in the district. Among others who attended the meeting were SSP, Anita Sharma, ADDC, Nawab Din, ACR, Harbans Lal, ASP, Sanjay Parihar, SDM, Gool, CMO, President MC, Ramban, President Beopar Mandal, Imam of Jamia Masjids, religious representatives, political leaders, Xen PWD, AD FCS&CS and other concerned officers.
DDC appreciated the people of Ramban and their representatives for maintaining peace, communal harmony and brotherhood in the district. The participants lauded the efforts of district administration in maintaining law and order in the district and assured their full cooperation for the same.
The DDC also reviewed the availability of essential commodities besides other arrangements being put in place for celebration of Eid-ul-Azha.
The DDC asked the Police Department to ensure fool proof security arrangements throughout the district. He directed the PDD and PHE to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply. The Municipal Committees were tasked to ensure cleanliness and sanitation in and around the Jamia Masjids and Eidgah besides roads and streets leading to places where congregation prayers would be offered. During their maiden meeting with DC, the prominent citizens of Ramban put forth their major issues before him for their earlier redressal. DDC assured them that their issues would be redressed in a time bound maner.
