Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 12: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has castigated the administration for keeping their leaders under house arrest for the last seven days.
Addressing media persons, Rajesh Padgotra, Provincial President said that the government has clamoured that section 144 have been totally lifted, the Schools and Colleges are functioning, the vehicular traffic is plying on the roads, the Eid is being celebrated with national traditional fervor and gaiety then why the leaders of Panthers Party Harsh Dev Singh, Chairman - JKNPP has been kept under house arrest.
Padgotra further cleared to the media persons that the Chairman of JKNPP has been kept under house arrest to neutralize representation and voice of Jammu people who are demanding the status of statehood for Jammu.
Padgotra showed his anxiety that on one side the Chairman of JKNPP is under house arrest for the last seven days whereas the workers and leaders of BJP are making rejoicings and distributing sweets and there is no house arrest of the BJP leaders which conspicuously shows that the Governor administration is crushing the voice of Jammu by putting Harsh Dev Singh house arrest.
Others who were present in the conference included Khajur Singh, Joint Secretary - JKNPP, Raman Bali and Rakesh Verma.
