| Women Club celebrates Raksha Bandhan, Eid | | |

Jammu, Aug 12: Raksha Bandhan is a festival of joy and celebration of brotherhood. Women Club 'Meri Pehchaan' chose to celebrate this year's Raksha Bandhan and Eid with our brave brothers of CRPF jawans and Policemen of RS Pura district of J&K today. The founder of the club, Sandhya Gupta has always actively participated in social causes, she feels the brave brothers of our nation should not feel left out from the time of celebration. Women from Arnia district also joined in the joyous occasion and tied rakhi to jawans and policemen. Sandhya Gupta also thanked Dy.SP RS Pura Saurav Parasher Ji for helping her organising the event. Dy.SP also expressed that events like these motivate our brave security forces to protect our nation. SHO Rajendra Singh ji also took active steps for making the event successful. Sandhya Gupta tied rakhi on both of their wrists as well, gifts and sweets were also distributed during this event. Social activist, Jeetendra Singh was also present for the occasion. Even during the time of festival of Eid and Raksha bandhan these brave men are on duty as nation's security is a priority to them. Recent scraping of Article 370 has also bought a streak of happiness across the people of Jammu & Kashmir. |
