UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 16: Additional District Development Commissioner, Ashok Kumar, today convened a meeting with all Collectors/SDMs, DFOs besides officers of concerned departments to review the progress achieved under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) in the district.
The meeting had detailed discussion on status of work on various roads being constructed in the district under the scheme. Besides, issues like land acquisition and forest issues, action taken so far and timeline for redressal through regular follow up, reconciliation of land acquisition funds lying with different collectors, reasons for non-disbursement and timeline for removing bottlenecks and making payments besides submission of red account, additional requirement of funds for land acquisition, action taken report regarding blacklisting of non performing contractors, etc were also discussed in detail.
SE PMGSY, Manzoor Ahmed gave power point presentation on various development projects being executed in PMGSY sector in the district. He informed that Tander to Pakhlai, Plasna to Bainsta, Gandala to Narore roads will be completed by end of October.
The ADDC directed the concerned authorities for resolving the pendency of issues and removing bottlenecks if any on priority so that execution of roads shall not be delayed. He asked the Executive Engineers to jointly inspect the sites with forest authorities for early forest clearance and ensuring proper supervision of works being executed by contractors.
The Collectors were directed to submit the red account of amount disbursed and amount available with them. |
