Sat inaugurates newly constructed lanes at Ward 41

Jammu, Aug 21: Fulfilling long pending demand of inhabitants of Saraswati Lane and Hazuribagh Lane, Ward 41(Bohri), Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) inaugurated newly constructed lanes number 2 and 4 of the areas. Sharma was also accompanied by State Secretary BJP and Corporator Ward 41 Sanjay Baru, JMC (Jammu Municipal Corporation) officials, local residents and political activists of the area. The works were done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rupees 10.79 lakhs. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was indeed a long pending demand of the inhabitants of the area and the deputation hailing from the ward met him sometime back regarding construction of lane for which he assured them that the works for the same will be taken up soon. He said majority lanes and drains in all 26 wards of Jammu West Assembly segment have been constructed or renovated and pending works will also be taken up in coming days so that a proper infra could be provided to the residents of Jammu West at their doorsteps. He also appreciated the work done by JMC and also lauded efforts of locals as well for being eyes and ears of their representative. Sharma also asked JMC officials present to prepare estimates for other pending works as well so that their works can also be taken up soon.
