Social Activist Naseer Ahmed Baghwan and Arshad Hussain Mattoo son of separatist leaders Molvi Abdul Qayoom Mattoo according to the sources has also been released, however there was no official confirmation on the release of these two.
Advocate Shahik Saroori, counsel of both the detained persons earlier told the "Early Times" that all the formalities have been cleared with regard to release of both of them.
A senior NC leader according to the sources told the administration that party is committed to follow the instruction from the higher authorities and the only and last message from the party Vice President Omar Abdullah is to maintain peace and communal harmony and assured the administration that the party leadership at Kishtwar is committed to promote peace and communal harmony and further told them that whatever the party leadership decided, they will follow the same and cannot decided anything at its own at the time when party leadership is under detention and called for their immediate release.
In another development, the security around the house of Senior Congress leader and former R&B Minister Ghulam Mohammad Saroori who is still under house arrest.
The reason behind putting the Saroori under spot came in wake of aftermath of heavy rush of people from different walks of life to his home and the authorities fell that allowing such huge number of people to visit Saroori might be a threat to peace in coming days as he (Saroori) has lambasted the government for abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A.
