RAMBAN, Aug 29: District administration Ramban launched Fit India Movement in across the district, here today.
Education Department organised various activities including Sports, Yoga besides other physical activities in all the education institutions.
The programme commemorating the birthday of Hockey Wizard,Major Dhyan Chand being celebrated as National Sports Day the students of various schools across Ramban district watched on TV or heard on Radio, the live ceremony of launching of Fit India Movement by the PM.
Chief Education Officer (CEO) Ramban A H Fani monitored the programme which was organised in institutions including Government Higher Secondary School, Batote, Government High School, Batote, Government Middle School Darmound, Government High School Chanderkote, KGBV Chanderkote, Government Higher Secondary School Sangaldan and Gool, Government Model Higher Secondary School Ramban, Government Girls High School Ramban, Government High School Kanthi and High School Jatgali besides other schools.
Speaking on the occasion at KGBV and high school Chanderkote impressed upon the participants to adopt physical activities including outdoor sports, athletic, yoga and walking activities to maintain their fitness which is the fundamental mantra of healthy individual as well as society.
He asked the students to become ambassador of PMs Fit India Movement to diversify in all nook and corner of district.
Among other principal and headmaster of hosts schools, staff members and various officers of different departments took part in the programme actively. |
