JTC & SKF demand 10,000 jobs for KPs

Jammu, Aug 29: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front J&K (SKF) was held here today under the Chairmanship of it is president Shadi Lal Pandita. The meeting was attended by the office bearers and members. During the course of meeting various issues related to Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Commuity were discussed in detail. While addressing the participants Shadi Lal Pandita reiterated the demand for announcing 10,000 ten thousand posts for the educated youth of Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community for affording job opportunities to the educated youth of this community. Pandita has further emanded Prime Minister's employment package announced long back in the year 2008 needs to be implemanented in letter and spirit by fulfilling the remaining posts under this package. Pandita has said that there is a long pending demand of Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community for their safe return and Rehabilitation in Kashmir Valley. He has demanded that the Government should take steps for bringing up 3 Town Ships in Kashmir valley with grant of political reservation of three Assembly seats and one parliamentary seat for the community for electing their representatives. Pandita has made a demand for granting Minority status to Kashmiri Pandit community enabling them to avail the benefits under this category. Pandita has said that due to price hike of all essential commodities the Migrant Community members having the only source of income i.e. cash assistance relief have been facing difficulties in meeting their day to day domestic needs. Pandita has demanded enhancement of the cash assistance relief from 13,000 to 25,000 per month per family in favour of the Migrant enabling them to over come present financial sufferings and also provide one time compensation of 29 years losses of properties @ one Crore of each and every KP family.
