Mandi, Oct 1: The residents of Mandi including shopkeepers and students have appealed Governor's administration to restore internet service in the town without any further delay.
Entire population of the area have appealed the government through media that ban on internet service in J&K state for last around two months has adversely affected the mass, since the situation is under control the administration should consider the issue. "People in Mandi are leaving very peacefully, there is no tension in Mandi and even other part of the Jammu division. Due to ban on internet service life has come to halt", people said, while talking to Early Times and added that Army is Mandi providing basic facilities to people, as the local administration virtually went disappeared.
"People are voluntarily approaching Army for all kind of support and they are getting very-good response as well", they said, adding that they would take care of communal harmony in the town and support administration. |
