Katra, Oct 1: All India Devotional Song Competition entered in second day evening as a part of Navratra Festival 2019 began today at Yog Ashram Complex in the evening by litting of a traditional lamp by Chief General Manager NHPC Himanshu Shekhar and Deputy Commissioner Reasi Indu Kanwal Chib in presence of Celebrity Singer Amrinder Bobby, SDM Katra Ashok Choudhary, Chairman Devotional Song Committee & President Hotel Association Katra Rakesh Wazir, Additional Director Tourism Dr.Umesh Shan, Teshildar Katra Sunil Sharma, Yog Acharya Swami Yoga Nand ji Maharaj, Shyam Lal Kesar,Virender Kesar, Prabhat Singh etc. Where as in Second day of the preliminary round of competition Raksha Shamra from Chandigarh took 1st position & 2nd position was shared by Sahil from Samba & and 3rd position was held by Lalit Bhardwaj from Jammu & Yogesh from Chandigarh, among the 12 auditioned participants in which 04 participants were from outside state & 08 participants were from within state and were provided with the cash prizes of 10,000/- , 5,000/-and 3,000/- respectively. The Devotional Song Competition was adjudged by the panels of experts in music including Celebrity Singer Amrinder Bobby, Dr. Surinder Kumar Sharma HOD Govt. Degree College Sunni Shimla, Dr. C L Verma Ex. Chairman Post Graduate University of Himachal Pradesh. |
