Kathua, Oct 11: Students of MBA Ist & 3rd semesters of Kathua Campus, University of Jammu participated in "UDGAAR" Fest 2019 at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi held on 6th Oct, 2019. More than 15,000 students and scholars from different Universities across India attended this Fest. Thirteen students along with two faculty members of the Department were the part of the fest. Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Minister for Heath & Family Welfare, Government of India was the Chief Guest at the occasion. The fest started with an inter college Quiz Competition and the students of Kathua Campus bagged three positions in different events. Ishan Sharma, Aman Preet Singh and Himani Jamwal secured first, second and third positions respectively in different competitions of the fest. Dr. Vivek Bindra, who is a Revolutionary Entrepreneur, an Internationally acclaimed Motivational Speaker and the CEO of Bada Business Pvt. Ltd addressed the participants in the fest. Professor Meena Sharma, Rector, Kathua Campus and Chief Coordinator Campuses lauded the efforts of the students and faculty thereby inspiring the students and suggested them to take part in such events and co-curricular activities at state as well as national level. She added that such type of events will go a long way in enriching the practical insight and all round development of the students. She assured full support from the Campus in organizing such activities in future also. |
