| Two day free knee camp conclude in Kargil | | |

Kargil, Oct 12: Two days free knee camp concluded in Kargil. More than 900 patients were examined. Patients from all parts of Kargil even from Zanskar, Drass, Shakar Chiktan and Batalik reached Inqilab Manzil Kargil in these two days and Dr Azam Badar Khan Knee Surgeon, Orthopedist and Joint Replacement Surgeon gave free check up from 8 am in morning till 6 pm on both the days which was appreciated by the patients and the people of Kargil. The Camp was organized by the Health wing of Anjuman Jamiyat Ullama Isna Ashriya Kargil (AJUIAK) Ladakh, Al Reza Health Care and Research Foundation Kargil in collaboration with Prime Healthcare Group Dubai UAE and Health Department Kargil. While interacting with media Dr Azam Badar Khan told that to the surprise of all, free check to more than 900 patients including the already registered 400 patients was given which was unexpected. He further said that more than 90 patients has been screened for total Knee Replacement Camp which will be conducted next year. Dr Azam Khan Thanking the volunteers and support staff of Doctors, said that this camp has given him an opportunity to pay back to his country particularly the people of Kargil coming all the way to this frontier district. |
