| EJAF highlights pending demands | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 19: A meeting of senior leaders of various departments under the banner of Employees Joint Action Forum was held at Jammu to discuss various demands. The members of EJAF said that in view of the latest developments regarding the formation of Union Territories of J&K, the Govt employees should be provided the allowances and perks at par with the employees of the other UTs of the Country . That all the Trade Union leaders in one voice expressed their full support in favour of striking the PDD Employees who are struggling against the debundling of PDD department since many days and urged the Governor to intervene personally and resolve the issue in favor of these striking employees. The Trade Union Leaders demanded the Government to release the pending salaries in favour of all Government employees ,Daily rated and consolidated workers before the Diwali Festival as a good will gesture . The Employees Leaders present in the meeting appealed to the workers and leaders of all the departments of J&K state to shun their differences and be United and come together on the broader platform to work wholeheartedly for the redressal of genuine demands pertaining to every section of employees. |
