| Cooperator Vijay Choudhary takes stock of problems of Ward No 42 | | |

Jammu, Oct 19: Vijay Choudhary Corporator Ward No 42 along with Ch. Manmohan Singh Former Mayor Jammu, extended the work of black topping of lanes to the lanes not yet started in Sec 5. It was a long pending issue with people of Sec 5, these lanes were broken since long, while during the rains, flooding of the lanes further deteriorated the condition of the roads. Residents expressed their relief and said that last times these lanes were properly maintained wad during the tenure or Ch. Manmohan Singh. Vijay Choudhary said that she has always prioritized the construction of new lanes and drains as the top of her agenda of maintaining a clean and hygienic ward. She said that being understaffed and lack of appropriate funds and resources, can cause friction in the ward development process but she and her team will not let it effect that much. On this occasion, large number of male and female residents were present. Many ladies complained to Choudhary about the irregular water schedule. She right away called AEE and XEN PHE department and talked to them about this issue. She asked them to confirm a particular time of regular water supply in accordance with the electricity timings of our area. Mrs Choudhary asked of the residents to be responsible for their locality and be more aware of the sanitation amenities provided to them, as such if they find any sanitation worker absent from their duty or not doing proper work, they must bring forward that issue to her attention. |
