Jammu, Oct 29: BJP State General Secretary & Incharge Ladakh, Yudhvir Sethi slammed Congress, NC, PDP for their desperate tries to create confusion in peaceful Ladakh region, stressing that BJP will ensure equitable development in both districts of Ladakh region.
Yudhvir Sethi accompanied by party State Vice-President Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana, State Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta and State Press Secretary & State Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra was addressing media at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
Yudhvir Sethi, said that due to sincere efforts of Prime Minisiter Narendra Modi led Union Government, 70 year long pending demand of Ladakh region for Union Territory (UT) status stands fulfilled. He said that while whole region is celebrating the decision and welcoming the new set up with open arms, certain vested interests are dying to flare up tension on the name of region. He said that these elements will never succeed in creating wedge between two regions.
Sethi, said that there will be development of Leh, Kargil, Nobra, Chanthan, Khalsi, Zanskar, Drass and other different regions. He said that for last 70 years Congress, NC have done grave injustice to the region and now by recommending Ladakh as UT, BJP government has assured the equitable justice with all sub-regions of both districts.
Sethi, said that Modi government is working on "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas, Sabka Vishwaas" and we will take into due consideration all the concerns of both Leh and Kargil, while doing justice with each and every individual. He said that BJP empowered Hill Development Councils in both districts and then ensured that there is no dearth of funds.
Sethi, said that the BJP assures people of Leh and Kargil that there will be no discrimination and we will ensure the smooth functioning of administration. He stressed that all the concerns of Leh as well as Kargil will be taken into account.
BJP appeals to the people of Ladakh to not to pay heed to any rumour mongers, who are trying to vitiate the atmosphere to create wedge between two districts and we must only concentrate on development, Sethi stressed.
