Mayor JMC inaugurates LED light facility at Apsara Road, Gandhi Nagar

Jammu, Oct 30: Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Chander Mohan Gupta along with Corporator (Ward No. 21) Bhanu Mahajan on Wednesday inaugurated the LED light facility at Apsara road Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation Pankaj Magotra, Executive Engineer (Electricals), AEE (Electrical) JMC - Joginder Bali were also present on this occasion. The development project allotted vide no. MJ/JC/W/Alt/18-22 on dated 19/06/2019 was constructed under the supervision of Corporator - Ward no. 21 Bhanu Mahajan at an estimated cost of Rs 28.14 lakhs. The work consists 26 no's of LED street lights in the middle of the divider on Apsara road, Gandhi Nagar. Speaking on the occasion, Bhanu Mahajan said that it was the long pending demand of the inhabitants of the area and being their representative she is committed to address their demands. Bhanu Mahajan reiterating her commitment towards developing of the Ward no 21 informed about several ongoing development projects coming up in the ward no.21 including (i) Installation of 100 ft National flag at Park- 23 in ward no. 21 Gandhi Nagar (on the lines of Connaught Place New Delhi), (ii) Entry Gate at the Apsara Road, (iii) Beautification cum upgradation of the Rehri Zone at Gandhi Nagar, (iv) Multi-Tier Parking project at Gole Market etc. "These projects are already in the pipeline and shall provide an added quotient to the beautification of the City in general and of Ward no. 21 in particular" she added.
