| Notorious Criminal held with Katta | | |

Jammu, Nov 3: District Police Samba has arrested a Notorious Criminal from Ramgarh road near matador stand in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and recovered a country made pistol (Desi Katta) from his possession.
A Police Party headed by SHO Vijaypur, Inspector Chaman Ghorkha under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur, Dr. Lov Karan Taneja while performing patrolling duty at Ramgarh road near matador stand intercepted a person on suspicious ground who tried to run on seeing Police Party.
"But alert Cops swiftly apprehended him and during frisking of the said person, a country made pistol (Desi Katta) was recovered from his possession. The accused person identified as Raghubir Singh resident of Chorli Bishnah, Jammu has been arrested on the spot and weapon was also seized", sources said, adding that a case FIR No. 166/2019 U/S 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at P/S Vijaypur and investigation started. |
