Jammu, Nov 3: Bishnah Police today achieved a major success when it apprehended a notrious criminal along with one country made Pistol along with one live round.
According to sources on the basis of specific information, a naka was laid near Peer Baba, Bishnah. One person who was moving in suspicious circumstances was asked to stop by the police party but he started running away he was chased and overpowered by the cops and on his personal search one country made pistol along with one live round was recovered from his possession.
He disclosed his identity as Mithun Kumar resident of village Phinder R.S.Pura, he was associated with Ranjit Singh (Ex-Sarpanch) group. He was involved in murder and attempt to murder cases registered Bishnah and Miran Sahib.
Police team headed by Insp. Deepak Pathania, SHO Bishnah assisted by PSI Rakesh Bandral made the arrest/recovery.
