JAMMU, Nov 3: A meeting of All J&K Plus Two Lecturers' Forum was held under the chairmanship of its state President Deepak Sharma at Jammu to discuss burning issues and demands pertaining to Plus Two cadre.
Deepak Sharma demanded sanction of Assured Career progression scheme (ACP)/Time Bound Promotion in favour of Plus Two Cadre on the analogy of other gazetted cadres of UT of J&K i.e. Three Time Bound Promotions (from level 9/5400 GP to Level 13/8700 GP) within a span of 20 years to remove worst type of stagnation and end discrimination with the cadre and appealed to Lt Governor for his personal intervention to do justice with the cadre.
Forum hailed commissioner/secretary Education for regularization of some of Joint Directors and CEOs and lecturers in some disciplines and demanded immediate issuance of Regularization orders of Principals and left over cases of Jt Directors, CEOs and lecturers pending for want of petty reasons.
Forum also hailed Director School Education Jammu for providing relief to many lecturers posted at far away places by transferring them near to their home localities and demanded adjustment of already promoted left over Lecturers and repatriation of others for smooth functioning of Department.
Forum also demanded release of list of Senior Lecturers as per one-third cadre strength. |
