Move offices open in Jammu

Jammu Nov 4: As a part of annual Darbar Move from Srinagar to Jammu, the move offices today open at Jammu after opening ceremony at civil Secretariat Jammu where newly elected Lt. Governor G C Murmu was presented the guard of honour by the troops of Jammu and Kashmir police led by Dy. SP Soumaya Ashkoor Wani.
Lt. Governor was accompanied by DGP Dilbagh Singh beside other senior officials including Chief Secretary B V R Subramanium was also present on this occasion.
After guard of honour, Lt. Governor meet senior government and police officals in his office chamber and later held a detail meeting with various secretaries, Special Secretaries, Additional Secretary level and other officals at Central hall of the assembly to review the functioning of the government department.
Contrary to previous occasions, no press briefing was held by the head of the newly created UT of J&K following the abrogation of Article 370 of the constitution.
