Early Times Report
MENDHAR, Nov 5 : Stepping up the present security setup of Mendhar town, the Police authorities have covered ten sensitive as well as entry and exit points of Mendhar town under Closed Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV) network.
The decision to install high quality cameras was taken during a recent security review meeting of District Police, Poonch.
Locations selected for installation of cameras were finalised by a team of police officers and these locations include sensitive locations in terms of movement of anti-social elements as well as entry and exit points of town.
SDPO Mendhar Neeraj Padyaar said that with the installation of cameras, security agencies will be able to check movement and activities of people involved in unlawful activities. He said the people should follow the trend of installation of cameras in their localities and especially at big business establishments which will help police in keeping a check on people involved in unlawful activities.
