Jammu, Nov 5: The son of soil, and presently undertaking higher studies in New Delhi , Sameer Khan, 19 is actively involved in various aspects of theatrical activities at national level. Son of Kajal Suri , a renowned theatre personality, Sameer has been part of many mega-theatrical shows in executing sets , light designs and stage management. He received wide appreciation for designing lights and sets for the magnum opus Heer Ranjha , produced by Robroo , New Delhi and presently involved in light design for upcoming Habba Khatoon to be presented at Shri Ram Centre. Sameer has learned the expertise under his mother Kajal , daughter of renowned theatre and filmmaker late Vijay Suri of Jammu and is actively undertaking clinical execution of off-stage management. Sameer also have been role executor of light design , set management for the plays like Ardhkaavya and Kaya , both written by Jammu playwright that were witnessed by large audience at SRC and other auditoriums in New Delhi , Haryana and Punjab.
The entrepreneur youth has taken up his studies in mass communication and yearns to take up theatre productions in his upcoming days at national as well as international level. |
