11/8/2019 10:03:13 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 8: A meeting of Executive Committee of PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry was held here today wherein besides felicitating the outgoing Chairman of PHDCCI Vikrant Kuthiala and remembering its first Chairman Late Ram Sahai it was unanimously decided that authorities be urged upon to restore the internet services in peaceful areas of Jammu Region particularly the route of Vaishnodevi Yatra right from Lakhanpur to Vaishnodevi ji which comes while travelling through road or train and particularly Kathua, Samba, Jammu, Reasi, Udhampur districts immediately because these areas are altogether peaceful and not even single militancy related incident or even otherwise have happened here in last so many years and particularly after revoking of article 370 and have requested that authorities to remove the ban on internet services in these areas in first go and may be on post paid services and if government apprehend, may be on trial basis even because it is effecting the Tourism and Vaishnodevi pilgrimage vigorously because although these areas are totally peaceful but still besides inconvenience to pilgrims is creating psychosis among the Tourists that the condition is not normal over here.
