| SHO makes deal with rape accused | | |

JAMMU, Nov 8: An influential Station House Officer (SHO), who is posted in Jammu Kathua Samba range, is allegedly misused his power and made a deal with a rape accused by leaving him few days ago. If highly placed police sources are to be believed, a few days ago a girl approached police station for seeking registration of an FIR against a person, who allegedly tried to rape her but no case was registered by the concerned police station because the accused is working in belt force.
The said officer made a deal with the accused as the leaves of the accused person about to end and then left the accused without registering any case.
However, the matter already in the knowledge of District Police Chief but nothing has been done so far to give justice to the victim girl.
Besides, the said inspector is reportedly giving shelter to drug peddlers. In addition the said inspector is also providing safe passage to the bovine smugglers, not only this the said SHO has also fixed the rate categories of releasing those vehicles which are seized during the transporting of illegal bovines smuggling.
Pertinently, the Prime Minister of the India is leaving to stone unturned to make India Corruption free but in Jammu such types of officers are openly making deals with the accused of various crimes.
Now, it has to be seen what kind of action would be taken by the senior police officials of the said district. |
