Kathua, Nov 8: Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kathua today organized district level contest on the topic Patriotism and Nation Building with the theme of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.
The contest was organized under the guidance of District Youth Coordinator, Jasleen Kour.
The function was organized in Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Kathua. In the function, Ramnish Gupta - Additional Superintendent of Police, Kathua was invited as Chief Guest, Pankaj Dogra - Trustee of Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Kathua was the guest of honour. Anu Dogra - Chairperson Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Kathua. The judges for the contest were Dr. Devinder Sharma - Assistant Professor, Rajiv Gandhi Memorial College of Education, Kathua, Bhupinder Singh - Govt. Middle School, Marheen, S. S. Pathania - Higher Secondary School, Parliwand, Kathua. The winners of block level participated in district level. Himanshika Sharma from Hiranagar block secured 1st position and received cash prize of Rs. 5000/-, Shipali Sharma from Nagri block secured 2nd position and received cash prize of Rs. 3000/- and Jaimal Singh from Dhar Mahanpur block secured 3rd position and received cash prize of Rs. 1000/-. The winner of district level will participate in state level declamation contest.
