| Information security awareness workshop organized | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 20:The Computer Science Department of DPS Nagbani organized a Workshop on Information Security Awareness for the students today.
The resource person was Shradima Gandotra, Computer Science teacher in the school. The main aim of the workshop was to make the students aware of the importance of information security.
Various types of cyber crimes and the way to combat them. It covered topics such as Tab Nabbing, Identity Thefts, Phishing, Internet Privacy, Password protection etc. The students actively participated in the interactive session and got answered to many questions and quarries related to the cyber security. It was an informative workshop, the students learnt about many precautions that can be taken to prevent Cyber Security threats.
Co-coordinator of the school Aarti Gupta appreciated the efforts of the Gandotra and said such informative workshop prove to be eye openers for the students and these must be conducted at regular intervals |
