| Arrangements reviewed, works taken up under Phase I assessed in Poonch | | |  Early Times Report
Poonch, Nov 23: District Development Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav held an interaction with Block Chairmen to review the status of works taken up under 'Back to Village' phase-I besides reviewing arrangements for second phase of the programme.
DDC informed that B2V phase II, being organised from 25th to 30th November 2019, would specifically focus on assessing the functionality of Panchayati Raj Institutions and reach of individual beneficiary Schemes in rural parts.
DDC reviewed the preparations being made for implementation of second phase of the ambitious programme.
He urged upon the Chairmen to sensitize the people about the need and importance of this people friendly programme for ensuring rural transformation. He asked them to work in close coordination with the line departments and field functionaries to ensure proper utilization of funds and timely completion of development works in their blocks.
Chairpersons raised several issues concerning their respective areas including water, electricity, road connectivity, up-gradation of roads etc. The meeting was attended by ACD, DPO, Executive Engineers PDD and R&B and other concerned officers. |
