| Educational institutes celebrate Constitutional Oath day | | |

Jammu, Nov 26: Various educational institutes celebrated Constitutional Oath Day with great enthusiasm on Tuesday.
Government Degree College Udhampur took Constitutional Oath on the occasion of India's Constitution Day today; which was followed by other activities.
The main event was held in the historical College Vatika where all the College students accompanied by their teaching and non-teaching faculty assembled. The Constitution Oath was administrated by Khushi, a student of Semester-I of the College. All those present in the Vatika raised their hands and took the sacred Oath.
Government College for Women Parade Ground, Jammu celebrated the 70th Anniversary of Constitution Day on 26th November 2019, as we know that the constitution of India, has a unique significance in the history of Independent India. It was on this day in 1949 that the constitution for the country was adopted, which came in the force on 26th January 1950, thereby, making the dawn a new era in Indian Political System.
In this connection the Govt. College for Women Parade initiated a series of programmes commencing from 26th of November 2019 which shall culminate on 14th of April 2020 which is the Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R Ambedkar. The basic Philosophy behind this kind of programme is to sensitize the students and youth in particular and others in general regarding values enshrined in the constitution. |
