Amit vouches for following Fundamental Duties

Jammu, Nov 26: Amit Sharma, a senior JKAS officer today shared a strong perspective towards religiously following fundamental duties by all individuals especially students and youth of the nation, which lays a strong foundation towards nation building in the times to come. These thoughts were shared by him during the celebrations of Constitution Day today at Government College of Education Jammu wherein he was invited as a Chief Guest. Others who were present on the occasion included Prof Dr Sangita Nagari, Principal Govt. College of Education, Dr Zubair Kales, Dr Sindu Kapur, Dr Shubhra Jamwal, Programme Co-ordinator, Prof Khasab and Prof Shapia along with all students who are undergoing various courses here. The programme on the Constitution Day celebrations began with a pledge on Preamble of Indian Constitution which was taken in the College premises in the presence of Amit Sharma, who led the ceremony and later a Presidential address was given by them to invigorate the minds of students here who are the future torch bearers and leaders to guide the young generations. He talked at length about lot of aspects on the relevance of Indian Constitution especially when J&K has ushered into a new era of becoming a Union Territory from first day of this month. He emphatically told that students should take a self-conscious decision and oath to follow the fundamental duties religiously which can help in building scientific temper, safeguarding environment, keeping peace and harmony and communal brotherhood amongst the people of nation.
