KPC welcomes extension to detention of Farooq Abdullah
12/16/2019 9:08:29 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 16: Kashmiri Pandit Conference( KPC) welcomed the extension to the detention of Farooq Abdullah, former Chief Minister& NC leader as his release could create public disorder in the Valley ,because he is habitual of making provocative statements aimed at mobilizing the people against the nation and speeches glorifying terrorists and separatists. Kundan Kashmiri,President KPC stated that there are a dozen of instances from 2016 inwards when he spoke in favor of the separatist Hurriyat Conference and terror groups and in-spite of debating and discussing the sensitive issues of national importance, he threaten the integrity of the country and glorify militancy.
Now after abrogation of article 370 and UT status to J&K, fanning the emotions of general masses against the country and propagating of secessionist and separatist ideology which poses a threat to life and liberty of the people and nation. it is neither acceptable nor will be tolerated by the people. The extension of detention to other Kashmiri leaders like Mehabooba Mufti and others is also need of the hour and to be shifted from their comfortable ban-glows and guest houses to central jail Srinagar or other Jails of the country as they were responsible for the unrest in the valley as well as miseries and exodus of KP,s from their homes and hearths.
