Jammu, Dec 16: For the participation of Inter-University Judo tournament selection trials of Men & Women were conducted at GGM Sc. College Jammu on 16-12-2019 under the department of Dean Students Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu.
Prof. (Dr.) Koushal Samnotra, Principal GGM Sc. College was Chief Guest on the occasion. In Mens Section, Gulshan Kumar, Sparsh Sharma, Raman Kumar, Sahil Sawarni, Azad Chander Sharma, Lakhan Baru and Sumit Kumar under weight Category -60 KG,-66KG, -73 KG, -81, -90 KG, -100 KG and open weight respectively were selected. Like wise in Women section, Ayushi Uniyal, Garima Sharma, Bhumika Mahajan, Suhasi Kiran and Shika Bhau under weight Category -48 KG, -52 KG, -57 KG, 63 KG, 70 KG and in open weight respectively selected. Dr. Vinod Bakshi Sports coordinator CLUJ and Physical Director GGM Sc. College, Jammu Prof. Raj Kumar Gupta, Prof. Naveen Anand, Prof. Arun Sharma, Prof. Jagjit Singh, Dr. Roopali Slathia, Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Neelam Chalotra, Assistant Physical Director MAM College and Pawan Giri, Assistant Physical Director GGM Sc. College were present. The selection trials were conducted under the supervision of Sardar Suraj Bhan Singh, Senior Judo Coach of J&K Sports Council, Jammu. |
