Jammu, Dec 16: Inspector General of Police Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh, IPS, held a meeting with the officers of district Police, CID/Security/Traffic Police to discuss security arrangements in connection with the Republic Day Celebration-2020 at Police Control Room, Jammu this afternoon. Singh stressed upon all the officers to ensure Anti-Sabotage check of MA stadium and its outer periphery on regular basis to rule out the possibility of any mischievous act. The guards deployed should be properly briefed by SHOs, SDPOs and ASP concerned regarding the nature and importance of duties to be performed by them in view of the present security scenario of Jammu Province. He advised census of the inhabitants/tenants residing in and around the stadium, checking of Hotels and other lodgments be under taken on priority. Joint nakas at selected places be established immediately so that no ANE/ASE could sneak in the city. SSP Jammu was also directed to ensure that all the guards deployed in Jammu district should be checked by the Gazetted officer especially during night. |
