KISHTWAR, Dec 17: District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana today chaired a meeting of District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) in which 99 cases under Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and JKREGP were approved.
DIC, KVIB Kishtwar submitted the loan proposals which included steel fabrication, furniture, preparation of Readymade garments, welding, carpentry, electronics & repair, cutting and tailoring, automobiles, readymade garments etc.
The committee screened and scrutinised 133 cases out of which 99 were selected for credit linkage through financial institutions after thorough analysis of viability of proposed projects and the entrepreneurial skills of the applicants.
The units are expected to generate employment opportunities for around 300 souls. |
