Hurriyat 'Hawk' Geelani, 'Dove' Mirwaiz turn paupers as money stops flowing
J&K reorganization helps Kashmiris get rid of death merchants
12/17/2019 10:36:17 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 17: Since the day Jammu & Kashmir has been reorganized, the Pakistan stooges in Kashmir have lost their addresses.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "Separatists like Hurriyat Hawk Geelani and Hurriyat Dove Mirwaiz have disappeared from the scene due to fear of being send to jail outside Jammu & Kashmir. It is for the first time in the past three decades that they have felt the writ of the state."
He said, "The National Investigating Agency (NIA) cracking whip on the terror funding networks has broken the back of separatists, who used to preach secessionism and sedition to appease their bosses sitting across Line of Control."
The people across the country are asking the simple question that why not the successive regimes in Jammu & Kashmir and at centre took any action against these elements during the past 30 years. "Is it that separatists in Kashmir enjoyed tactical support of the so-called mainstream politicians in the Valley?" said an observer.
According to the media reports, the separatists in Kashmir are becoming restless and they are making desperate attempts to get regrouped. In the recent past, the so-called Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Shah Geelani had issued a statement asking people not to give up. "At present no one in Kashmir is paying any heed to what Geelani is saying. He has become irrelevant as his henchmen, who used to enforce shutdown and orchestrate stone pelting have deserted him and his party due to the financial crunch which separatists have been facing for the past many months," the observer added.
Another analyst said, "The nexus between Kashmir-centric politicians and the separatists could be gauged from the fact that the NIA arrested former independent MLA Engineer Rashid in August this year for his involvement in a terror funding case."
It is in place to mention here that Engineer Rashid continues to be in NIA custody and is presently lodged at Tihar Jail in New Delhi. There were reports that Engineer Rashid has taken money from a businessman Zahoor Watali, who too is in the NIA custody. Watali, according to the investigating agencies, was the main financer and was the brain behind terror funding network which was operational in Kashmir.
A Kashmir Watcher said, "J&K's reorganization has proved to be the blessing for the people of Kashmir. It has helped them get rid of the merchants of death and destruction, who were filling their coffers by selling the dead bodies of Kashmiris."
