JAMMU, Dec 17: Crime Branch Jammu has produced charge sheet against a fraudster for duping on the pretext of arranging government job. The charge sheet was produced against the accused identified as Riyaz Ahmad Hajam son of Gul Ahmed of Adoora Handwara, Kashmir in case FIR No. 27/2017 U/S 420/RPC P/S Crime Branch, Jammu for duping one, Atif Hussain, who lodged a complaint that he was duped of his hard earned money on the pretext of arranging a job for him in J&K Police. Atif Hussain (Security Guard by profession) son of Zakir Hussain of Inharrah Tehsil Gandoh, District Doda in his complaint had alleged that he was allured by the accused who worked as co-worker with the complainant and assured him that he could arrange a government job for him in J&K Police against a consideration of Rs 3.55 lakh. But despite paying the required amount to the accused both in cash and in his account the complainant was neither provided a job nor was the money returned by the accused to him and was ultimately duped. Crime Branch Jammu initiated a preliminary verification into the matter and during enquiry the allegations were substantiated against the accused and accordingly a formal case was registered for thorough probe. During the course of investigation evidence was collected which proved the allegations of cheating committed by accused and defrauding the complainant of his money.
