| Delegation of former MLCs calls on Lt. Governor | | |
Jammu, December 18: A delegation of former MLCs, today called on Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu here at the Raj Bhavan.
The delegation led by Sh. Ramesh Arora comprising of former MLCs- Sh. Charanjeet Singh Khalsa and Sh. Ajay Bharti apprised the Lt. Governor about various issues including execution and completion of works started under Constituency Development Fund (CDF), streamlining the health sector across J&K, establishment of Guru Nanak Dev ji’s Chair at the University of Jammu to mark the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Devji and organizing seminars in this regard besides other important issues of public importance.
The Lt. Governor interacted with the members of the delegation and assured them to review all the genuine issues projected by them for their early redressal. He urged the former MLCs to continue working for the advancement of the people’s welfare. |
