Civil Societies denounce JK cop's involvement in terrorist activities | Demand thorough probe, severe punishment | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 13: After the news against a Deputy Superintendent (DySP) rank police official of Jammu and Kashmir Police flashed in media about his alleged involvement in terrorism activities, many organisations came forward and strongly denounced the heinous crime committed by cop and demanded severe punishment. Dr Sukhvinder Singh Chairman Umeed Welfare Society Poonch took strong exception of the incident and said that no leniency should be adopted against the accused cop, who brought bad name to his country and a particular community. "No matter which community he belongs, such people who conspire against their own country should be treated as terrorist," Singh said. He further said that a severe punishment should be awarded to him for his misdeed and thorough investigation should be held to find out involvement of such cops in the police. Hailing the commendable job of Jammu and Kashmir Police for arresting alleged DySP, Dr Sukhvinder Singh said that they are with the security agencies and will cooperate with them to bring peace and tranquilly in the Jammu and Kashmir. |
