JKTF demands release of pending salary, 7th PC

Jammu, Jan 19: Monthly meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held at Gandhi Nagar, Jammu under the Chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria in which all the members from the Provincial, District and Zonal participated.
The agenda of the meeting was the long pending issues of teachers, masters, lecturers and other cadres of the employees of the Education Department viz Class IV,CPW,Cook and Helpers. Ganesh Khajuria appealed to the Lieutenant Governor G.C Murmu, K.K. Sharma Advisor to the LG, Hirdesh Kumar Singh Commissioner Secretary School Education to intervene personally to sort out the pending salary/7th pay commission arrear issues of Masters working against the wpromoted Masters as Lecturers in the different subjects at the earliest on the vacant posts. He also appealed Hirdesh Kumar Singh Commissioner Secretary School Education to issue directions to the concerned DDO'S to clear the liabilities of MDM and the monthly honorarium of the Cooks which is lying pending from the last six to seven months. Moreover Ganesh Khajuria Chairman also nominated Ramesh Raina Master keeping his dedication towards the FORUM as Secretary JKTF Jammu Province as he has been associated with the organization for the last twenty years. Those who were presented in the meeting included Yograj Slathia, Darshan Sharma, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Nisar Peer, Raj Singh ,Thoker Bashir, Bharat Bushan, Kuldeep Verma, Balraj Singh, Davinder Singh and many others.
